CRONO is a mobile and reconfigurable miniature XRF scanner for rapid detection. Based on EDXRF technology, in situ, non-destructive, and rapid detection of large samples can be performed.
The XRF component is fully integrated into a compact measuring head, with element detection range from Na to U, and efficient detection results even at voltages below 2keV or above 25keV (such as Sn, Sb, and Bak excitations).
The measuring head is installed on the motor, and the detection sample area can reach 60 cm x 45 cm. The electric frame and mobile rod can be easily disassembled and transported. If the measuring head is installed on a lightweight tripod, CRONO can become a portable XRF for single point measurement.
The system operates completely non-contact, with a distance of 1 centimeter from the sample, and due to the monitoring system settings, the analysis area will eventually be under control.
CRONO has two types of front-end technical support. CUBE is a CMOS preamplifier that can achieve high-speed spectral acquisition and has excellent spectral quality. At the same time, the digital pulse processor DANTE can perform fast real-time scanning of the sample.
CRONO's software can control and view every interface, and display spectra and element distribution maps in real time. At the same time, the spectra of each pixel point are automatically stored, and the reporting tool can automatically generate PDF format measurement reports for each individual detection or the entire project detection.
