PV200 provides a testing and diagnostic solution for photovoltaic systems, capable of conducting commissioning tests according to IEC 62446 standard and quickly and accurately testing IV curves according to IEC 61829. When used in conjunction with the Solar Surveyor 200R irradiance meter, the PV200 can convert measurement data into STC standard values. Both PVMobile and SolarCert Elements software support direct comparison with the factory calibration values of PV modules.
Connect the device directly to the lead wires of a single photovoltaic module or photovoltaic string, and the test can be easily completed in seconds by pressing a button.
A high contrast display screen is clearly visible under direct sunlight and can display open circuit voltage, short-circuit current, high power point voltage, current and power, as well as fill factor and insulation resistance of photovoltaic modules or systems during testing (as part of an automatic detection program or measured separately). If the measured IV curve deviates significantly from the expected curve, PV200 reminds the user to conduct further analysis.
The PV200 can be connected to the PVmobile Android application via wireless NFC for data transmission, allowing for real-time browsing of detailed IV characteristic curves and power curves in various colors on the app. PVMobile displays the measured IV and power curves and diagnoses common issues such as shadows, defective components, and poor electrical connections through visual analysis of curve shapes.
