1. Kiln body
In addition to meeting general building requirements such as durability, the kiln body of a drying kiln must also meet special requirements such as insulation, sealing, and anti-corrosion. The drying kiln produced by Maichuang manufacturer has achieved this well.
The Maichuang series drying kiln has two types: civil kiln type and metal kiln type. Design the civil kiln body according to special requirements; The inner layer of the metal kiln body is made of aluminum plate, the outer layer is made of aluminum plate or colored steel plate, and a special insulation layer such as centrifugal glass wool is sandwiched in the middle. The kiln body skeleton is made of steel structure or aluminum alloy structure. Both the civil kiln body and the metal kiln body are well sealed, have sufficient insulation performance, and can effectively resist corrosion.
The ceiling inside the kiln is made of aluminum plates or compacted with concrete.
2. Kiln door
There are three types of kiln doors: single door, double door, and hanging door; When building two or more connected kilns, the kiln doors are usually hanging doors, and when hanging doors are used, door lifters need to be installed.
The structure of the kiln door is the same as that of the metal kiln body, with insulation and anti-corrosion properties. In order to ensure the tightness of the kiln door, a special silicone sealing ring with high temperature resistance, aging resistance and good elasticity is set around the kiln door to ensure that the kiln door is air tight.
The door opener adopts a hand cranked worm gear structure, which can be suspended or floor standing, with convenient and flexible operation, smooth and reliable action.
3. Heating system
The main body of the heating system is the heater. The quality of the heater is not only related to its lifespan, but also to its heat transfer efficiency. The heater used in the Maichuang series drying kiln is a new type of steel (stainless steel or seamless steel) aluminum composite integral rolled finned tube heater. The fins have no wrinkles, low airflow resistance, high heat transfer efficiency, good corrosion resistance, and long service life. Practice has shown that the comprehensive performance of this heater is significantly better than the commonly used wound tube or series tube heaters in China.
Manual steam heating uses flange type plunger valves produced by well-known domestic enterprises, automatic steam heating uses stainless steel solenoid valves, and hot water heating uses electric valves; Heating solenoid valves and electric valves are premium products with stable performance and long service life.
4. Humidity control system
Although the humidity control system is simple, it is very important for ensuring the quality of wood drying. The steam spraying pipeline of the humidity control system is made of stainless steel pipe (or PPR hot melt pipe), thus avoiding the disadvantage of corrosion and reduced service life caused by the use of carbon steel pipe. When using steam heating, inject atmospheric saturated steam into the kiln; When using high-temperature water heating, saturated steam or atomized water is sprayed into the kiln.
5. Airflow circulation system
Airflow circulation is an important means to accelerate drying speed and ensure drying uniformity. To improve the sealing performance of the kiln and the reliability of the fan operation, the ZL series drying equipment adopts a high-temperature and moisture-proof motor and fan installed together in the kiln, with direct transmission. 6. Inlet and exhaust system
The intake and exhaust devices of the Maichuang series drying kiln can be controlled automatically or manually. The dehumidification motor (torque) of the automatic control system is convenient and practical, and can achieve multi-level control. Both automatic and manual control operations are very convenient and the actions are very flexible.
7. Detection system
The detection system mainly refers to the detection of wood moisture content and the detection of medium temperature and humidity.
The detection of wood moisture content adopts the electrical measurement method, which can simultaneously measure the moisture content of 4-8 measuring points in the kiln. It is convenient and fast to use, with digital display, accurate and reliable readings.
The detection of medium humidity adopts the temperature difference method, and the devices used are dry and wet bulb thermometers. This dry and wet bulb thermometer consists of two temperature sensors with the same accuracy. The temperature sensing part of one of the thermometers is wrapped in a gauze cover, and the end of the gauze cover is immersed in a water tank. This thermometer is called a wet bulb thermometer.
Due to the heat required for water evaporation, the reading of the wet bulb thermometer is lower than that of the adjacent dry bulb thermometer. The lower the reading of the wet bulb thermometer, the drier the medium. The principle is that when the medium inside the kiln is relatively dry, the moisture on the wet bulb gauze cover evaporates faster. As evaporation requires heat consumption, the reading of the wet bulb thermometer will be lower, which can determine the humidity of the medium.
The detection of medium temperature is determined by the dry bulb thermometer in the above-mentioned device.
The readings of the dry and wet bulb thermometers are displayed on the LCD display panel of the automatic controller, with accurate and reliable readings.
The manual control drying equipment measures the dry and wet bulb temperatures using stainless steel instruments.
8. Control system
The wood drying process is essentially a process of heat and moisture exchange between the drying medium and the wood, therefore, the control of the wood drying process is actually the control of the medium conditions. The medium conditions closely related to wood drying are mainly temperature, humidity, and circulation speed. The circulation speed is determined by the fan, which runs continuously after starting and is generally not controlled. So, what may actually need to be controlled is only the temperature and humidity of the medium.
According to the needs, the control system of the Maichuang series drying kiln has three types: semi-automatic, fully automatic, and manual control. The semi-automatic and fully automatic control systems are controlled by the wood drying semi-automatic and automatic control instrument developed by Guangzhou Academy of Sciences.
