Types of sensors
The ZEISS CONTURA can be equipped with a fixed passive sensor, a flexible RDS rotating probe holder, or an active scanning probe. Various sensors can be used for scanning. Zeiss Navigator technology has become standard on active aircraft models - for uninterrupted smooth measurements.
Durable and precise
According to the configuration, ceramic or CARAT rails can be used in ZEISS CONTURA to ensure higher rigidity, lower thermal expansion, and smaller moving weight. The air bearing on all three axes ensures continuous stability even during high moving speeds and accelerations. The floating glass ceramic grating ruler of ZEISS CONTU-RA has almost no expansion, so there is no need for additional temperature sensors or mathematical compensation. Therefore, it is very suitable for use in the workshop, and the machine protection reaches a level that will not be affected by any corrosion.
Computer aided accuracy (CAA)
The gantry will withstand dynamic forces that affect accuracy, especially during scanning. ZEISS CONTURA can calculate the compensation for this inertial effect. This ensures that the required accuracy can be maintained even at high measurement speeds.
Convenient control
The system is operated and controlled through a convenient control panel, without the need for a computer. Advanced control system, more convenient and precise control of all axis movements. Speed can be adjusted in CNC mode.
