Instructions for on-site use and installation of series density transmitters
1. The principle of an online density meter is based on the differential pressure method, which is established on the basis of stable and accurate measurement of the distance between the dual probes. So as long as the dual probes are fully immersed, the static pressure is relatively stable, even if it is constantly circulating and stirring. All devices for testing density can be used. But if bubbles appear, it will affect its density. In areas where direct measurement is not suitable, additional testing tanks should be added to allow the densitometer to operate in areas with low flow rate and fluctuations to ensure stable readings.
2. The specific installation diagram is designed and determined by the on-site technical personnel based on the size of the purchased equipment.
3. For testing flowing liquids or liquids with high vibration, an auxiliary measuring tank should be installed to reduce the influence of bubbles and other factors, so as to ensure stable measurement readings. On site operators need to balance dynamic and reading stability requirements when adjusting the liquid flow rate inside the measuring tank.
4. The on-site installation of density meters must ensure that both probes are perpendicular to the ground, otherwise measurement errors may occur.
5. In theory, the series density meter can measure concentration according to different media. Please convert the concentration result according to the on-site situation by yourself.
Maintenance and common troubleshooting of online density meters
1. The two sensor heads are the most vulnerable parts of the densitometer, and external damage can cause damage to the densitometer. In order to protect the sensor from damage during transportation and installation, the protective cover must be removed before installation. Remember!!
2. The density meter has been adjusted to its optimal state when it leaves the factory. Non professionals are not allowed to adjust it arbitrarily. Professional on-site calibration method: Insert the densitometer vertically into pure water and adjust the communication terminal that supports the HART protocol. Follow the instrument manual for specific operations.
3. When the density transmitter is found to be malfunctioning, first check if the power and ground wires are properly connected.
4. When the transmitter reading is found to be significantly different from the actual value, first check whether the membranes of the two membrane boxes have been damaged or deformed by external forces, and whether they have corroded.
