2、 Selection of water-cooled explosion-proof chiller

There are many users who open plastic product factories or need chillers to cool the circulating water and oil used in their machines. When purchasing industrial chillers, they often do not know what type of chiller to use to achieve their desired cooling effect, or what type of machine is more suitable for their workshop.

Firstly, it is necessary to clarify which types of chillers are classified into: Most manufacturers have two types: water-cooled and air-cooled.

The air-cooled chiller contains an insulated water tank and water pump inside its body, eliminating the need for an additional cooling tower for heat dissipation.Installation and movement are very convenient.But it has high requirements for the working environment. Firstly, because it uses hot air circulation for cooling, if the ventilation effect of the installation workshop is not good, it will directly affect the cooling effect of the chiller.Also, if you want to place the chiller in a cleanroom with humidity requirements, I suggest you modify it to be water-cooled.Because air-cooled chillers will spray water vapor at the top of the machine to dissipate heat.

Water cooled chillers can be divided into open type, sealed type (some called box type), and screw type. Firstly, it should be stated that water-cooled chillers require additional cooling towers and water pumps to extract hot water for heat dissipation. Only then can a good cooling effect be achieved.

An open type chiller requires an additional water tank, while a sealed type does not need to be installed because it has a built-in water tank.Open type chillers are usually installed outside the workshop for easy maintenance, but due to their lack of aesthetic appeal, sealed water-cooled chillers have emerged. As they are a box structure, they are more popular.

3、 Working principle of water-cooled explosion-proof chiller

The refrigerant (i.e. refrigerant) absorbs heat from the object being cooled in the evaporator and vaporizes into steam. The compressor continuously extracts the generated steam from the evaporator and compresses it. The compressed high-temperature and high-pressure steam is sent to the condenser and releases heat to the cooling medium (such as water, air, etc.), condensing into high-pressure liquid. After being depressurized by the throttling mechanism, it enters the evaporator and vaporizes again, absorbing heat from the object being cooled. This cycle repeats itself. During heating, the refrigerant changes its flow direction through a four-way valve, and the flow direction of the refrigerant is exactly opposite to that during cooling. The refrigerant first passes through the evaporator, then returns to the condenser, and finally returns to the compressor
