The horizontal cylinder of the gravity free mixer is equipped with dual axis rotating blades that rotate in opposite directions. The blades form a certain angle to circulate and stir the material along the axial and radial directions, allowing for rapid and uniform mixing of the material; To reduce the cost of replacing vulnerable parts of the equipment, the blade blades can be made into two pieces, and a movable small blade can be placed on the blade base to directly replace the worn small blade, which is economical and fast; The discharge form is generally pneumatic (manual) flap valve, and the circular arc valve is tightly embedded in the cylinder, flush with the inner wall of the cylinder, without material accumulation and mixing dead corners; The standard model can be divided into large and small doors. The large door opens to the edge of the cylinder, allowing for clean and quick material discharge with minimal residue.
A gravity free mixer fully utilizes the principle of convective mixing, which utilizes the upward throwing motion of materials in the mixer to form a flow layer, resulting in instantaneous weight loss and achieving better mixing efficiency. The mixing process is shown in the figure. In the field of flow layer, materials overcome centrifugal force at a certain circumferential velocity and move from A to B under the action of blades with specific angles. At the same time, the moving blades inside the machine send it to C, and the blades with the same specific angle send it to D, and then return from D to A; Moreover, the material undergoes axial movement under the action of specific overlapping blades, achieving mixing in all directions and forming a random motion state.
The machine is equipped with a pair of shafts rotating in opposite directions in a W-shaped mixing chamber, and overlapping blades with a certain angle and quantity are installed on each shaft. A flow layer is formed in the mixing chamber with a certain circumferential velocity, and the materials in the layer are mixed under the principle of convective mixing, and are in a weightless state in an instant, thus obtaining a uniform mixture. A spray nozzle can also be installed above the container for solid-liquid mixing of sprayed liquids.
The rotational speed of the machine is 50% -80% of the critical speed, and when the blade distance is small, it can approach the critical speed.
Scope of application:
The gravity free mixer is mainly used for dry powder mortar and medium to high grade putty powder with high mixing uniformity requirements, such as crack resistant mortar, insulation mortar, bonding mortar, plastering mortar, floor mortar, etc. The industries of concrete admixtures, feed, chemical powders, food flavorings, etc. have also been greatly applied. Even if there are differences in the specific gravity and particle size of materials, good mixing effects can be achieved under the rapid and intense rolling and throwing of staggered mixing blades; It is not suitable for mixing raw materials with a particularly large amount of spray and material viscosity.
Gravity free mixers are widely used for drying and mixing powders such as dry mortar, chemicals, pesticides, detergents, pigment foods, monosodium glutamate, milk powder, salt, feed, chemicals, ceramics, plastics, rubber additives, etc. Even if there are differences in specific gravity and particle size of the materials, they can achieve good mixing effects under the rapid and intense agitation and scattering of the staggered mixing blades.
