WP gearbox is one of the earliest gearboxes produced by Subaru. It is composed of a pair of meshing worm gears, worm gears, and other parts installed in a rigid sealed box, and serves as an independent component in the machine. Commonly used as a deceleration transmission device between the prime mover and the working machine.

Box body form: There are basic types of box body forms (with the input shaft in the lower structure, the input shaft in the upper structure, the output shaft in the upper structure, and the output shaft in the lower structure) and universal types (the box body is a rectangular prism with fixed screws on multiple surfaces, without a bottom board or with additional bottom boards, etc.)
