The WL-X prepaid intelligent metering management system for student apartments is designed for the electricity management of college students. In the electricity management of student apartments, electrical appliances such as electric heating devices are prone to fire accidents, such as fast heating, electric kettles, induction cookers, electric frying pans, etc., which are commonly referred to as prohibited appliances in colleges and universities. To avoid accidents and complete the management of student electricity charges, our company has developed a prepaid intelligent metering management system for student apartments. The system distinguishes between malignant loads and resistive loads based on their characteristics. Malignant loads detect sudden power changes through pure resistive loads, and electrical appliances exceeding the set power point cut off power supply. The usage effect is obvious and has been successfully promoted and applied in many universities.
Functional Features
◆ Prepaid function: Purchase electricity first, then use it, automatic power-off without charge. There are flexible and diverse ways to purchase electricity, which can be done through RS485 network or IC card.
Malignant load control: When the user uses "malignant loads" such as electric heaters, electric stoves, and fast heating, the system automatically recognizes and shuts off the power. After the malignant load is removed, the system automatically restores power supply.
Load control: It can set a limited current for each household. When the electrical load exceeds this limit, the system will automatically shut down and restore power supply after the load decreases.
◆ A minimum current can be set for each household. When the user's electricity current is below this limit, the system will no longer identify malicious loads, so that users can use low-power appliances with "malicious load" properties such as electric lights normally.
Time period control: 12 time periods can be set, and the system automatically realizes timed power on and off functions.
◆ Power outage alarm: Each household can set a power outage alarm level. When the user's remaining power reaches this set value, the household will automatically power off to remind them to purchase electricity in a timely manner. Users can restore power by pressing the button on the cabinet or swiping their IC card until the electricity is depleted and the meter is powered off again. Users need to purchase electricity before power can be restored.
◆ Multi circuit power supply control: For the same user, multiple circuits of the same phase are used for power supply. One circuit is used for normal power consumption, load control, malignant load identification control, and timed power supply and shutdown control. The other circuit is not subject to any control and is used for equipment such as air conditioners, water heaters, freezers, etc. that are not subject to power restrictions.
