1Venturi nozzleCharacteristics and Applications
The structural characteristics of the Venturi nozzle are that the inlet part is similar to the inlet of a nozzle, while the outlet part is similar to the outlet of a Venturi tube. The Venturi nozzle has the characteristics of low pressure loss, stable outflow coefficient, higher measurement accuracy than orifice plates and other nozzles over a wide flow range, good repeatability, long service life, and requires straight pipe sections at the front and rear. The Venturi nozzle is suitable for measuring water and various gas flow rates, and is also commonly used in gas flow calibration devices.
1. Structural form:
The Venturi nozzle consists of a curved contraction section, a cylindrical throat, and a diffusion section.
2. Pressure collection method:
Upstream corner joint pressure measurement and throat pressure equalization ring pressure measurement.
