The V-1000 small animal ventilator is an advanced version of the V-100, which adds an air pressure feedback pathway to the V-100. It can monitor the peak respiratory pressure of animals and display the waveform of airway pressure changes in real time, providing accurate reference for the respiratory changes of animals during the experimental process. It has multiple breathing modes such as constant volume, constant pressure, and sighing, ensuring sufficient ventilation for animals while effectively reducing the risk of ventilatory lung injury.


The V-1000 small animal ventilator is an easy-to-use ventilator designed by Yuyan Company specifically for mice, rats, and other small animals. The volume mode provides a fixed tidal volume during each breath, while the pressure mode stops inflation at a preset airway pressure. In capacity mode, the ventilator follows the principle of time flow, knowing that the airflow passes through within a certain period of time, and thus obtaining the corresponding volume passed through. In pressure mode, the airflow is simply adjusted to provide a suitable suction time. The actual tidal volume is displayed on the LCD screen, as well as the minute ventilation volume (MV) and other respiratory parameters are displayed on the screen. The built-in air pump can operate without the need for an additional air source. This pump sucks in indoor air, oxygen, or anesthetic gas through the port on the rear panel.


V-1000 has simple control and intuitive data. The respiratory rate (RR) is directly set and displayed as breaths per minute. The inhalation to exhalation ratio depends on the setting of inhalation time. All parameter settings can be operated through touch screen. After adjustment, the LCD screen will automatically update and display the new flow rate and corresponding tidal volume. The pressure mode and capacity mode can be switched through touch screen operation. In any mode, the front panel pressure bar gauge will continuously display the current airway pressure. This pressure signal can also be exported as external recorded data. The automatic sighing function can be set by pressing the sighing function.
