2. Installation method
In open environments, bracket installation is generally used, and the instrument is fixed with its own flange. Cut a circular hole slightly larger than the probe diameter (60mm) in the installation position of the pool or tank, place the instrument in it, and then tighten the flange from bottom to top. 2.5 Installation precautions
1) When installing instruments outdoors, it is recommended to install sun visors to extend the service life of the instruments.
2) Please make sure to tighten or block the waterproof joints at the cable inlet and outlet to prevent water from entering the instrument.
3) Although the instrument itself has lightning protection devices

3. Troubleshooting
3.1 Distance displayed on the instrument panelLNot equal to the distance from the probe to the liquid surface
Indicating that the instrument did not measure the correct liquid level and instead measured an incorrect target object, such as protrusions, steps, beams, or enlarged blind spots at the end of extension pipes. Please locate the target object at the distance L displayed on the instrument. If the maximum liquid level is below the target object, it can be avoided by setting a blind spot (in menu P06). If the maximum liquid level will submerge the target, it can only be avoided by reducing the reflection echo of the target object, changing the installation position of the probe, tilting the probe appropriately, and adding a waveguide (see 3.4 for details).
3.2 The liquid level data fluctuates greatly
If the data fluctuation is less than 5cm, the response speed can be reasonably selected through the P05 menu to solve the problem. If the data fluctuation is greater than 5cm, it indicates that there is a significant ripple in the power supply and ground air. Solution: Equip the instrument with a separate DC24V power supply; Add a 4-20mA isolator;

3.4 LCD without display
Please check the power supply voltage and startup current of the instrument first. The power supply voltage must be greater than 18V. The startup current of the instrument is around 3.5mA. If the startup current is greater than 4mA or less than 2.5mA, the instrument must be returned to the factory for maintenance.
3.5 The instrument cannot measure the liquid level perhaps The first row of the instrument LCD displays continuously“-----
Please check if the measurement range exceeds the instrument range (increase the instrument range upon returning to the factory); Is the probe vertical; Whether there is foam or floating objects on the liquid level (use stilling well or wave adding catheter, see 3.4 for details); When the liquid level is high or close, the instrument can display data, while when the liquid level is low or far, the instrument displays - (probe power is insufficient, return to the factory to replace the probe).
3.6 The liquid level of the instrument matches the actual value, but the current output is incorrect
First enter menu P09 and fix the output current of the instrument to 20.000mA. Then use an ammeter to check if the output current of the instrument is equal to 20.000mA. If the output is correct, please check the instrument panel PLC、 Is the 20mA setting of the digital display consistent. If the output is incorrect, the instrument must be returned to the factory for repair.
[Note] If measuring current with a multimeter, it is necessary to confirm whether the battery of the multimeter is sufficient and whether the internal fuse is intact. The battery of the multimeter is insufficient, resulting in a higher current value. The current value is 0, and the internal fuse is broken.
