MOBREY liquid level switch, also known as water level switch or liquid level sensor, is a switch used to control the liquid level. Formally, it is mainly divided into contact and non-contact types.
The commonly used non-contact switches include capacitive level switches, and contact type float level switches are widely used. Electrode type liquid level switches, electronic type liquid level switches, and capacitive type liquid level switches can also be implemented using contact methods. In water treatment, liquid level control is often related to the safety, economy, and feasibility of the entire process.
In a water treatment process, there are usually raw water, intermediate water tank, production water tank, backwash water tank, and even waste liquid tank. The volume varies greatly. Generally, the production water tank, raw water tank, etc. are relatively large, especially in large production lines, where multiple level switches are often needed to control multiple levels in the water tank. Each liquid level corresponds to different actions, commonly including pump start stop and water production start stop. Some water tanks, although large, do not necessarily require multiple level switches.
For example, on an RO pure water production line, RO concentrated water is used as backwash water and stored in the backwash water tank. In the backwash water tank, there is only one level switch, namely the low level control switch, which is used to detect the water level in the tank during backwash, without checking whether the tank is overflowing. Because RO produces pure water continuously, the discharge of concentrated water cannot be stopped. For product water tanks, low and high level control switches need to be set up.
