The working principle of a tuning fork level switch is to vibrate the tuning fork at a certain resonance frequency through a pair of piezoelectric crystals installed on the tuning fork base. When the tuning fork comes into contact with the measured medium, its frequency and amplitude will change, and these changes will be detected, processed, and converted into a switch signal by an intelligent circuit.



When installing the sensor, insert it into the tank and use a wrench to tighten the hexagonal thread on the upper part of the sensor. Be careful not to twist the blue housing, as it may cause rotation between the blue housing and the probe rod during the tightening process. At the time of leaving the factory, the connecting cables between the electronic unit and the sensor inside the shell have been connected. Forcefully twisting the shell will cause the internal connecting cables to break;

2. During installation and construction, be careful not to subject the fork to strong impact to avoid damaging the piezoelectric crystal;

3. Instrument sensors should avoid the impact of materials as much as possible. When installed horizontally, the two parallel fork plates of the fork body should be perpendicular to the ground (at this time, the direction mark of the fork body should be raised or lowered) to ensure that materials can easily flow out between the fork plates.
