Gas turbine flowmeter is a velocity type instrument. It has the advantages of high accuracy, good repeatability, simple structure, wide measurement range, small volume, light weight, low pressure loss, and easy maintenance. It can be widely applied in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and urban gas pipeline networks. Especially in urban gas metering, transmission and distribution network metering, and gas pressure regulating station metering, it has been widely used.

2、 Gas turbine flowmeter, LWQ gas trade metering special flowmeter working principle:
Gas turbine flowmeter is a device that places a turbine in the measured fluid. When gas flows through the flowmeter, it is rectified and accelerated by a special structure rectifier. The impeller rotates due to the force exerted by gas on it, and the blades on the impeller cause periodic changes in the magnetic resistance of the magnetic circuit. The angular velocity of the impeller is proportional to the flow rate within a certain flow range. By utilizing the principle of electromagnetic induction, a pulse signal proportional to the volume flow rate of the fluid is induced. This signal is amplified and shaped by a preamplifier, and then integrated by a microcontroller. And displayed on the LCD screen. The signals detected by the temperature and pressure sensors are input into the integrator for processing, and the flow rate under standard conditions will be obtained and displayed on the LCD screen.

2. Characteristics:

(1) Wide measurement range, lower limit flow rate below 0.5m/s, low pressure loss, and strong impact resistance of the impeller;

For example: LWQ-100C-1.6: A gas turbine flowmeter with a diameter of 100mm and a pressure of 1.6Mpa, equipped with temperature and pressure compensation.
6、 Installation method:
1. The instrument installation adopts flange connection, threaded connection and clamping type;
2. During installation, the direction of gas flow should be consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the sensor housing, and the upstream straight pipe section should be ≥ 10DN, and the downstream straight pipe section should be ≥ 5DN (DN is the inner diameter of the pipeline);
3. Before installation, check the flexibility of the instrument impeller and blow a small amount of gas towards the turbine. The impeller should rotate and count flexibly
The device is working normally without any noise, sudden stops, or jamming;
4. It is strictly prohibited to weld flanges with a gauge, and the upstream straight pipe section between the filter and the flowmeter must be cleaned strictly. There must be no residual welding slag or other debris in the straight pipe section;
5. Install and check the sealing of the entire system according to the installation diagram requirements to ensure no gas leakage;
6. In order to avoid affecting the normal transmission of gas during maintenance, a bypass pipeline should be installed at the installation location of the sensor (see Figure 7).
