1、 Equipment Overview:

The electric leakage tracing test (i.e. electric trace index test) is a simulation test item specified in standards such as IEC60112, UL746A, GB/T4207, GB4706.1, ASTM D3638-92, etc.

The leakage tracing test is conducted on the surface of solid insulation materials. A certain voltage is applied between platinum electrodes of a specified size (2mm × 5mm), and a specified droplet volume of conductive liquid (0.1% NH 4 CL) is dropped at a fixed time (30s) and height (35mm) to evaluate the leakage resistance performance of the solid insulation material surface under the combined action of electric field and humid or polluted medium. The comparison of the electrical trace index (CT1) and the electrical trace resistance index (PT1) is determined.

The leakage trace tester is suitable for research, production, and quality inspection departments of lighting equipment, low-voltage appliances, household appliances, machine tool appliances, motors, electric tools, instruments, and information technology equipment. It is also suitable for insulation materials and engineering plasticsIndustries such as materials, electrical connectors, and accessories.

2、 Performance characteristics:

★ The combustion chamber is treated with high-strength baking paint, which is beautiful, generous, and has strong corrosion resistance;

★All sample racks are made of stainless steel material;

★Automatic drip device, with adjustable drip nozzle height, ensuring that the drip position is in the middle of the two poles;

★The electrode device includes platinum electrodes, electrode fixing devices, 4mm gauges, etc. The electrodes are adjustable and detachable.
