Product Overview:

Principle: TIME2134 (TT340) ultrasonic thickness gauge (cast iron type) is used for thickness measurement based on the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection. When the ultrasonic pulse emitted by the probe reaches the material interface through the measured object, the pulse is reflected back to the probe, and the thickness of the measured material is determined by accurately measuring the time of ultrasonic propagation in the material. This principle can be used to measure various materials that can propagate ultrasonic waves at a constant speed inside, such as metals, plastics, ceramics, and glass. It can accurately measure various plates and processed parts, and on the other hand, it can monitor the thinning degree of various pipelines and pressure vessels in production equipment after corrosion during use. Widely used in various fields such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace, etc. The TT340 ultrasonic thickness gauge is equipped with a TSTU32 cast iron probe, which can measure the thickness of materials with coarse grains and insufficiently dense structures such as gray cast iron, PE materials, nylon materials, etc.
