Equipment composition

The Simmons cone crusher is mainly composed of a frame, a fixed cone assembly, a moving cone assembly, a spring mechanism, a bowl shaped shaft frame, and a transmission system; The auxiliary part consists of an electrical system, a thin oil lubrication system, and a hydraulic cleaning system.

Working principle

During operation, the eccentric sleeve is driven to rotate by the electric motor through a V-belt, a large pulley, a transmission shaft, a small bevel gear, and a large bevel gear. The axis of the crushing cone rotates and moves under the pressure of the eccentric sleeve, causing the surface of the crushing wall to sometimes approach and sometimes leave the surface of the rolling bowl wall. As a result, the material is continuously crushed by compression impact and bending in the annular crushing chamber composed of a fixed cone and a moving cone. After multiple compressions, impacts, and bending, the material is crushed to the required particle size and discharged through the lower part.
