1、 Overview
The odor components of exhaust gases in the rubber or rubber recycling industry are complex and varied. It can be roughly divided into 5 categories:
1. Sulfur containing compounds: such as H2S, SO2, thiols, and thioethers;
2. Dust type: such as carbon black;
3. Compounds containing chlorine, such as amides and indoles;
4. Hydrocarbons: such as alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, and aromatic hydrocarbons;
5. Organic compounds containing oxygen, such as alcohols, phenols, aldehydes, ketones, organic acids, etc.
Among them, inorganic substances include H2S, SO2, carbon black, etc., and the vast majority of the primary substances produced by odorous gases are organic substances. These substances pose a significant threat to human health.
2、 Process Design
1. Gas collection system: Add a collection system to the specific parts of the workshop where the machines generate exhaust gas, and then install corresponding pipelines. The fan is used as a power source to extract the exhaust gas;
2. Dust removal system part: This method is not the traditional tower absorption method. The waste gas collected by the gas collection system is first transported to the alkali absorption tower, and the waste gas is input from bottom to top. The alkali solution sprays the waste gas from top to bottom through spraying.
3. Purification and deodorization system: It utilizes the advantages of efficient adsorption materials (activated carbon or carbon fiber) with strong adsorption capacity and fast adsorption and desorption rates to purify organic waste gas. The exhaust gas from the outside of the tower is evenly distributed through the guide hood and sent into the tower. The incoming airflow passes through the adsorption bed of the tower's internal packing, and harmful chemical components in the airflow are adsorbed by the adsorbent. Clean air is discharged through the air outlet, and condensed water generated inside the tower is discharged outside the tower through the collection tank and discharge pipe.
