Rotary pump is a form of positive displacement pump that changes the working volume by the relative motion between the rotor and the pump body, thereby increasing the energy of the fluid.
Rotary pump, also known as Roots pump, colloid pump, high concentration slurry pump, etc., relies on two synchronously moving rotors and is driven by a pair of external synchronous gearboxes. The rotors rotate synchronously in the opposite direction under the drive of the transmission shaft, thus forming a high vacuum degree and discharge pressure. Two rotors separate the rotor chamber into several small spaces and operate in the order of I-II-III-IV. When operating to position I, only the inlet is filled with medium; When operating to position II, a portion of the medium was enclosed in chamber II; When reaching position III, the medium is also enclosed in chamber III; When reaching position IV, the inlet and outlet chambers are connected, and the medium is transported to the outlet pipeline. Following this cycle, the medium is continuously transported out.
