1、 Purpose:

Suitable for collecting surface sediment samples from underwater environments such as oceans, rivers, lakes, and aquaculture farms. It has the characteristics of relatively complete substrate samples and all stainless steel. It has been widely used in national marine pollution investigation and monitoring.

2、 Structure and composition

The stainless steel bucket type mud collector is mainly composed of left and right bucket components, cover plate components, and hook components.

Each dredging bucket resembles a quarter cylindrical shell. The dredging bucket assembly is a component for collecting mud, and each dredging bucket assembly consists of dredging bucket, counterweight, fixed plate, lifting ring, cover plate, pulley, rope ring, stopper and other parts. The dredging bucket completes the dredging action by closing the left and right dredging. The steel wire rope closes the left and right dredging buckets through pulleys and pulleys. There is a movable cover plate welded with iron rings at the top of each dredging bucket. There is an iron chain connecting them, and when this chain is lifted onto the hook, the left and right dredging buckets are in an open state. The main shaft is a component that connects the left and right dredging buckets together. The main shaft ensures that the left and right dredging buckets rotate around the axis, completing the opening and closing actions of the dredging buckets.

IIIWorking principle

Under the tension of the steel wire rope, the left dredging bucket rotates counterclockwise and the right dredging bucket rotates clockwise, resulting in a tendency to close the dredging bucket. But due to the iron chain attached to the cover plate hanging on the hook, this closing effect is limited. When the dredging bucket sinks to the bottom of the water, the heavy end of the hook will automatically sag, causing the iron chain to detach and releasing the restriction on the left and right dredging buckets. When lifting the dredging bucket, the left and right dredging buckets are closed under the tension of the steel wire rope to complete the dredging action.
