Common pre storage methods for prepaid electricity meters
There are two types of pre storage methods, one is code based and the other is card based.
The coding principle is that the management system combines user information and electricity purchase information to generate a set of encrypted codes, which are then inputted into the electricity meter by the user. After the meter is correctly decrypted, the pre stored electricity or amount is obtained and saved.
Write card type: Write the pre purchased electricity or amount into a dedicated electronic card (memory), and hand it over to the user to hold the electronic card and communicate with the corresponding meter. The pre purchased value is automatically sent to the meter.
Electronic cards, also known as IC cards or power purchase cards, are made by special packaging of dedicated IC chips. Common power purchase cards are divided into contact and non-contact types according to their communication methods.
Contact types include card cards and key cards, while non-contact types include RF cards and remote control cards.
