Precision filtration uses molded filter materials, with the original liquid passing through the filter material, the filter residue remaining on the filter material wall, and the filtrate flowing out through the filter material, thus achieving the purpose of filtration.
The formed filter materials include filter cloth, filter screen, filter plate, sintered filter tube, wire wound filter element, melt blown filter element, microporous filter element and multifunctional filter element. Due to different filter materials, the filter aperture also varies. Precision filtration is a type of filtration that falls between sand filtration (coarse filtration) and ultrafiltration, with a filtration pore size generally ranging from 0.01 to 120 μ m. The same form of filter material is divided into different specifications according to its external dimensions. There are two types of wire wound filter (also known as honeycomb filter): one is polypropylene fiber polypropylene skeleton filter, with a maximum operating temperature of 60 ℃; Another type is degreased cotton fiber stainless steel skeleton filter, with a maximum operating temperature of 120 ℃

3、 The function of precision filters
Precision filters are often installed after pressure filters to remove small particles from liquids, in order to meet the requirements for incoming water in subsequent processes. Sometimes it is also installed at the end of the entire water treatment system to prevent small particles from entering the finished water. The commonly used filter cartridges have the following specifications: 0.1 0.2 0.5 0.8, 1 2. 3 5. 10, 20 Precision filters with sizes of 30, 50, 75, 100, and 120 μ m are commonly used as security filters for devices such as electrodialysis, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, and ultrafiltration.
4Water inlet requirements for precision filters
There are certain requirements for water inlet and operating parameters, and changes in water inlet conditions and working conditions will lead to changes in the production capacity of this equipment. Non compliant water inflow and operating conditions may result in equipment damage. If the equipment operates under non-standard production conditions and causes damage to its performance, the equipment is not covered by the warranty.

5、 Installation instructions for precision filters
After installing the inlet and outlet pipelines, rotate the opening screw to remove the outer shell cover, then hold the filter element and insert it into the inner hole of the filter element along the guide rod. Insert the lower inner hole of the filter element freely into the fixed sleeve on the filter element support plate along the circular hole of the positioning plate. Then, cover the upper end of the filter element with a cap, making sure that the upper openings of each filter element are at the same height and on the same surface as much as possible. After installing the filter element, first tighten the long bolt (tightening screw) nut, cover the outer shell cover, rotate the opening screw to tighten the bolt nut, and tighten the tightness to prevent leakage.
