Product details

overview
Stork Instruments (abbreviated as Stork) is a pan European professional manufacturer of online dew point meters, portable dew point meters, and dew point transmitters. There are four operational centers in Europe (London, Paris, Warsaw, Krakow) responsible for research and development, manufacturing, marketing, supply logistics, and an increasingly strong global sales network and service facilities. Andrew Michell, the founder of Stoker, has 40 years of rich experience in the field of humidity measurement. As early as 1974, he worked in the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, specializing in the humidity measurement industry.
The DEWRanger UNO portable dew point meter from Stoker is designed to be compact and easy to use for rapid measurement of dew point in sample gases.
The Stoic dew point meter is a major advancement in the world of capacitive dew point meters. It uses specially developed dual ceramic nano thin layers to replace traditional alumina, which has a faster and more stable response than traditional alumina capacitive dew point meters. Using an ultra-thin response layer only 24 nanometers thick means that the response time is much faster than competitors, and the sensor is more stable when facing higher gas temperatures.
The traditional alumina capacitive dew point meter has two shortcomings: firstly, the response layer thickness of the sensor is generally 1000 nanometers, which limits the response time of such sensors, especially at low humidity. Secondly, over time, alumina undergoes a slow conversion process to become aluminum hydroxide, leading to calibration drift in dew point meters. Therefore, traditional alumina capacitive dew point meters require frequent calibration.
The Michell dew point sensor was invented by Andrew Michell in the 1970s. Andrew Michell, with 40 years of experience in sensor research and development, invented the most high-performance dual ceramic nanofilm technology capacitive dew point meter in the international market today. The Stokes dew point sensor is the natural successor to the Michelson dew point sensor.
