The pellet machine aims to increase the packing density of plastic film, and the material that has been pellet can be directly processed by product equipment such as injection molding machines, extruders, and blow molding machines.

Granulation is carried out by mechanical methods without a heat source, so the raw materials will not be degraded.

Typical applications: Agglomeration of raw material bags, cut film rolls, loose films, etc

Working principle

After the waste is fed into the pellet machine, it is sheared between the high-speed rotating blade and the fixed blade, and at the same time, the material descends towards the center of the cutter head through the guide groove. Under high-speed rotation, the self friction between materials and the friction with the pot wall will generate a lot of frictional heat, causing the materials to heat up to a semi plastic state and form small pieces. There is a sprinkler system, so the material will not be found in large clumps. Cold water in contact with hot materials will quickly vaporize and take away surface heat, causing rapid cooling of the material surface and avoiding blockage. Afterwards, it is crushed into particles (irregular size) using a moving knife and a fixed knife. During the cutting process, suitable colorants can be added as needed

6. Used to increase the bulk density of LDPE, HDPE, PP, BOPP, PET films and bags.
