The Picarro G2203 gas concentration analyzer can accurately measure methane (CH4) and acetylene (C2H2) simultaneously, with a sensitivity of parts per billion (ppb). By using C2H2 tracer to measure quantifiable emission rates, the drift when measuring fugitive CH4 emissions from landfills or other methane sources can be ignored. This analyzer can be installed within minutes for static monitoring applications, as well as for remote quantification of emissions beyond the warning line. It is coupled using the US Environmental Protection Agency's Geospatial Method (EPA's other testing method OTM 33).
