Ozone power supplyThe power supply device that provides high-frequency and high-voltage electrical energy to drive the ozone generator is also one of the core components of the ozone generation system.
At normal temperature and pressure, lower concentrations of ozone are colorless gases, and when the concentration reaches 15%, they appear light blue. Ozone is soluble in water. At normal temperature and pressure, the solubility of ozone in water is about 13 times higher than that of oxygen and 25 times higher than that of air. However, the stability of ozone water solution is greatly affected by the impurities contained in the water, especially in the presence of metal ions. Ozone can quickly decompose into oxygen and decompose slowly in pure water. The density of ozone is 2.14g/L (0 ° C, 0.1MP), with a boiling point of -111 ° C and a melting point of -192 ° C. The structure of ozone molecules is unstable, and they are more prone to self decomposition in water than in air. The main physical properties of ozone are listed in Table 1-1, and the solubility of ozone in water at different temperatures is listed in Table 1-2. Although ozone has a solubility in water that is 10 times greater than oxygen, its solubility is actually very small because it follows Henry's law, which states that its solubility is proportional to the partial and total pressures in the system. The content of ozone in the air is extremely low, so the partial pressure is also extremely low, which forces ozone in water to escape from the interface between water and air, causing the concentration of ozone in water to constantly decrease.

Ozone has strong oxidizing properties, and except for gold and platinum, ozone oxidizing air has a corrosive effect on almost all metals. Aluminum, zinc, and lead will be strongly oxidized when in contact with ozone, but chromium containing iron alloys are basically not corroded by ozone. Based on this, chromium iron alloys (stainless steel) containing 25% Cr are commonly used in production to manufacture components that come into direct contact with ozone in ozone generating and injection equipment.
Ozone also has a strong corrosive effect on non-metallic materials, and even PVC plastic filter plates that are quite stable elsewhere can become loose, cracked, and perforated shortly after use in ozone injection equipment. In ozone generating and measuring equipment, ordinary rubber cannot be used as sealing material, and strong corrosion-resistant silicone rubber or acid resistant rubber must be used.
