Load the abrasive to be tested into the funnel, open the discharge valve, and the abrasive naturally falls down along the lower end of the funnel and flows into the measuring cylinder. Scrape the abrasive that falls into the measuring cylinder flat, weigh the mass of abrasive in the measuring cylinder after scraping on a balance, and divide it by the volume of the measuring cylinder to measure the bulk density of the abrasive to be tested.
