The QudroLine series instruments embody WTW's design philosophy of pursuing powerful functionality, compact structure, and good cost-effectiveness. PH296 is a high-performance, high-precision pH/ORP monitor that can be installed in control panels. It has advanced technology, complete functions, and a moderate price, so it has been widely used. PH296 can be installed together with other QudroLine series instruments, such as LF296 conductivity meter and Oxi296 dissolved oxygen meter, in a small control cabinet to form a portable monitoring system. High/low impedance input allows connection to electrodes other than WTW. In addition, a three wire Pt100 or Pt1000 temperature probe can also be connected. Fully programmable relays have ratio control function, which can control dosing valves or diaphragm dosing pumps. There are up to 16 different models of pH296, including 24VAC/VDC type and RS485 bidirectional interface, which can handle almost all occasions.
◆ Comprehensive safety design concept
Online monitoring instruments must ensure safe and reliable operation in order to meet strict technical standards. Like all WTW products, the QuadroLine series electronic circuits are specially designed, such as lightning/overcurrent protection; Intelligent wiring of circuit boards (with good electromagnetic consistency); Isolation of input and output signals. Unlike other low-level products on the market, WTW monitors can provide sufficient protection without the need for expensive external protective equipment.
RS485 serial interface

◆ User friendly interface

In addition to displaying pH/ORP and temperature, LCD can also display important information such as system status and failure information. To guide users to successfully complete various settings, prompt messages will be displayed at the bottom of the LCD screen.
◆ Electrode compatibility
All pH/ORP electrodes with high/low impedance outputs can be connected to pH296, which can be connected not only to WTWSensoLyt electrodes but also to electrodes from other brands. Therefore, when replacing a malfunctioning testing system, the original pH/ORP electrode can be retained. In addition, pH296 can also be connected to an external NTC thermistor or a 2-wire/3-wire Pt100/Pt1000 temperature probe.
◆ Programmable relay output
Two sets of relays with pH 296 (R version) can be set for alarm or control purposes. After selecting the function mode, enter the next level submenu and enter necessary parameters such as test parameters (pH/ORP or temperature), high/low points, control phase, and hysteresis interval. When set as a proportional controller, pH296 can be directly connected to the control circuit.
◆ Analog output
The pH296 standard is equipped with two sets of analog outputs, representing pH/ORP and temperature respectively. The outputs are completely isolated from the inputs. Through the menu, users can select 0-20 or 4-20mA, set the value represented by 0/4mA, 20mA, and attenuation coefficient, such as mA/S. Therefore, the analog output can be easily connected to peripheral devices such as recorders, PLC controllers, etc. When the range exceeds the limit, the output remains constant at 20.5mA, and the display screen shows an alarm.
