Olympus metallographic microscopeThe BX41M uses long-lasting LED illumination on the anti-static and ESD responsive microscope. There are two types of reflective lighting devices: conventional and oblique lighting. The oblique lighting is easy to operate, and the X41M-LED can be used for bright field, simple polarization, and differential interference contrast (combined with BX-AKMA-LED) observation. The surface resistance is below 108 Ω, and the discharge time (the time required to discharge from 1000V to 100V) is less than 0.2 seconds.
The OLYMPUS metallographic microscope BX41 adopts the UIS infinite optical system, which is equipped with a long-life halogen light source as standard. It has bright field, light, differential interference phase contrast functions, and multiple apochromatic objective lenses for users to choose from.

Low power LED lighting
The sample color will not change due to dimming and lamp lifespan, and LED lighting always provides the best observation image with natural color tones. Its service life is longer than halogen lamps, and it will not be interrupted by bulb replacement, improving efficiency and reducing operating costs. The power consumption of LED lighting is equivalent to 1/7 of 30 W halogen lamps, and it also contributes to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

The reflective lighting device is available in two models: BX-AKMA-LED (with aperture stop and oblique aperture) and BX-KMA-LED. BX-AKMA-LED adopts oblique illumination mechanism, which can achieve high contrast images with simple operation.
