1、 Instrument Introduction:
The OIL -6 infrared oil analyzer is a new type of oil analyzer designed based on the principle of infrared spectrophotometry and in accordance with the requirements of GB/T16488-1996. When connected to a computer, the instrument can display the position of spectra and absorption peaks, and can quickly and accurately measure the oil content in water. It is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, scientific research, and environmental monitoring.
► Infrared oil analyzer, using infrared spectrophotometry for measurement, can display and print the spectral and absorption peak wavenumber positions of the sample after spectral scanning. It can quickly and accurately measure the total concentration of oil in water. Main application areas: Infrared oil detectors are not only suitable for monitoring the content of petroleum (mineral oil), animal and vegetable oils, and total oil in water bodies and soils such as surface water, groundwater, seawater, domestic water, and industrial wastewater, but also recommended instruments for monitoring the oil content in flue gas (cooking fumes in the catering industry). In addition, it can also be used for purity detection of organic reagents and measurement of the total amount and amount of organic compounds containing different C-H bonds.
Traditional component analysis involves sampling first and then measuring qualitatively, which takes a long time and cannot obtain measurement data in a timely manner. And the molecular functional groups of most substances can absorb infrared light, making it easy to conduct qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation of internal components through the absorption and conversion of spectral energy. The infrared oil analyzer is based on this principle and uses infrared spectrophotometry for measurement. After scanning the spectrum of the sample, it can display and print the spectral and absorption peak wavenumber positions of the sample. It can quickly and accurately measure the total concentration of oil in water.
The definition of petroleum is: a substance extracted with CCl4 under the conditions specified in "GB/T16488-1996", which is not adsorbed by magnesium silicate, and has characteristic absorption at all or part of the spectral bands with wave numbers of 2930cm-1, 2960cm-1, and 3030cm-1. The definition of animal and vegetable oils is: substances extracted with CCl4 under the conditions specified in "GB/T16488-1996" and adsorbed by magnesium silicate. According to the recommended methods of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), China has developed and promulgated the "Infrared photometric method for the determination of water quality, petroleum and animal and vegetable oils" (GB/T 16488-1996) based on infrared photometry. This method includes two methods, infrared spectrophotometry and non dispersive infrared spectrophotometry, but currently in China, most of them use infrared spectrophotometry. Recently, the "Determination of Water Quality for Petroleum and Animal and Vegetable Oils by Infrared Spectroscopy Method" (HJ637-2012) was issued. The traceability experiment personnel compared the experimental analysis using two different methods and proved that the accuracy and precision of the infrared oil analyzer produced by our company meet the requirements. The non dispersive infrared photometry method has been cancelled.
2、 Application areas:

4、 Product features:
1. The detachable integrated optical system has a small instrument volume, light weight, and first separates and then absorbs, which meets the requirements of infrared spectroscopy. It has good stability and high signal-to-noise ratio.

The instrument consists of an optical system, an electrical system, a microcomputer, and a data processing system.
1. The optical system consists of a light source, a collimating objective, a reflector, a colorimetric cell, a grating, an imaging objective, a filter, a pyroelectric detector, etc.
2. The host electrical system includes modulation light source circuit, stepper motor drive circuit, wavelength positioning circuit, signal amplification processing circuit, analog-to-digital conversion circuit, single-chip microcomputer system, etc.
