Compact body, guaranteed performance
SMZ445 and SMZ460 have excellent optical performance. Due to the use of Porro prisms, the body is compact and lightweight. There are two models to choose from: SMZ445 has a variable magnification of 0.8x~3.5x, The SMZ460 has a magnification range of 0.7x to 3.0x, with tilt angles of 45 degrees and 60 degrees, respectively. Paired with a new type of transmissive/reflective LED base, users can observe a variety of samples, from culture dishes to plants, insects, small animals, minerals
Excellent optical performance
Following Nikon's optical design and the quality standards of Nikon's high-performance stereomicroscope, the images have excellent flatness. The multi-layer coating of the lens ensures clear, bright, and high contrast images.
Long working distance
The working distance is up to 100mm, which ensures safety during focusing even if the surface of the sample is very uneven. This design is very convenient when using tweezers, scissors, or sample guns to manipulate samples.

Specialized eyepiece with diopter adjustment for autofocus setting. When SMZ445 is equipped with a 20x eyepiece, a maximum of 70x can be observed. 10X objective lens can be optionally equipped with a rubber band
Additional objective lens
Simply installing an additional objective lens can provide a larger field of view and a longer working distance. There are two types of additional objectives: 0.5x (working distance 181mm) and 0.7x (working distance 127.5mm).
Anti mold treatment
The internal use of anti mold agents in the polyploid ensures normal use in high-temperature and humid environments.
C-LEDS Hybrid LED Stand
LED base, All In One design
The newly developed LED base is equipped with a built-in transmissive/reflective lighting fixture. The light intensity can be adjusted independently or used simultaneously. High brightness and long-life LED eliminates the hassle of frequent replacement. The body structure is compact and sturdy.
Multiple base options
In addition to the LED base with built-in transmissive and reflective lighting, Nikon also offers other options. For example, the standard base has two sizes y, while the transmissive base S has a built-in 6V, 20W halogen lamp.
C-PS160 base
Slimming design, ø 180mm large stage, with a distance of 160mm between the optical axis and the support, greatly improving work efficiency.
C-PS/C-PSC base
Narrow design provides a comfortable working area for easy handling of samples. The small base of C-PSC saves desktop space.
C-DS transmission base
Provides a place for hands to rest. Large diameter glass table, suitable for observing large samples. Using 6V-20W halogen lamps.
C-DSS transmission base
Integrating light sources and power sources in a concise manner. The angle of the built-in reflector can be adjusted through a knob.
C-DSD transmission f seat
The high-end C-DSD transmission light base is equipped with a condenser lens that can be switched at different magnifications, allowing the high numerical aperture objective lens to fully utilize its potential and obtain high-resolution images. In addition, to meet the requirement of high contrast, Nikon has developed the Oblique Coherent Contrast (OCC) illumination method, which allows colorless and transparent samples to present a high relief effect.
C-BD transmission base bright field/dark field
The C-BD transmission bright/dark field base adopts a 7-mirror, effectively reducing stray light. When observing dark field transmitted light with a short working distance objective lens, stray light usually reduces the contrast of the image. So using a C-BD base greatly improves the signal-to-noise ratio of the image.
Carrier platform
SM-S4L 4 x 4 stage
Combined with an optional extension pillar, The 4 x 4 stage can move precisely along the XY direction, making full use of the fine alignment under high magnification mirror reflection illumination.
(Although mounted on a transmissive bracket, it is not suitable for transmissive observation due to light blocking)
Sliding stage
After placing the sample, gently push the edge of the stage to move it in the desired direction. The travel range is ø 40mm.

C-FIR fiber ring lighting (12V-100W halogen lamp)
Adopting 12V-100W halogen lamp with reflector. Cone shaped light is provided through optical fibers from above the sample to the center, reducing unnecessary shadows.
C-FID fiber optic dual fork lighting (12V-100W halogen lamp)
Using a 12V-100W halogen lamp with a reflector, the light beam is projected onto the target position through two fiber optic arms. The lighting angle and direction can be easily adjusted.
C-DSLS lamp room (6V-20W halogen lamp)
Using a 6V-20W halogen lamp can serve as a reflective fluorescent lighting source. It can also be installed on the C-DS transmission base.
SMZ-U reflector arm
Can be installed on C-DSLS light rooms or G-LS reflector luminaires.
G-LS Reflective Illumination (6V-10W Halogen Lamp)
Provide sufficient brightness. It can be installed on the C-PS base to easily adjust the lighting angle.
G-EIA soft arm
It can be adjusted to any shape.
C-FPS fluorescent ring illumination
Circular fluorescent tubes can provide uniform illumination without shadows. It adopts a long-life CRT with 160V-30mA, which lights up immediately after turning on the power.
SM-LW61Ji LED Lighting
Using 60 long-life white LED lights, providing high-intensity illumination without flickering when adjusting the intensity.
