Multi spined barbed wire (corona wire), also known as cathode wire, is introduced and widely promoted in Germany. The characteristic of multi spike corona wire is that auxiliary discharge spikes are punched out on the supporting circular tube, and the straight edge spikes are sandwiched between two supporting semi-circular tube plates. The new type of clamped tubular barbed wire has a uniform current density during corona discharge, forming a type of tubular barbed wire with different levels of high, medium, and small corona currents that will not shed edge spikes. This makes the operation of electrostatic precipitators reliable, with high dust removal efficiency and low energy consumption, and is suitable for electrostatic precipitators.

Technical requirements for the production of multi spike wire (corona wire):

1. Solid and reliable, with high mechanical strength, continuous connection, and no disconnection. A power supply partition of ESP often has thousands of negative wires, and a broken wire can cause an electric field short circuit.

2. Good electrical characteristics. Make the current density distribution on the anode plate uniform and the average electric field strength high; It has good adaptability to high dust concentration, fine dust, and high specific resistance dust. The corona voltage is low and the breakdown voltage is high.

3. Easy to clean dust and low manufacturing cost.

Performance of corona wire:

Corona wires have high mechanical strength, are not easy to break, are easy to clean, have low cost, and are easy to manufacture. They are suitable for use in new electrostatic precipitators or for retrofitting old ones. The corona wire is made by bending thin steel plates and punching spikes perpendicular to the corona wire on both sides of the steel plate. On the transmission line of the corona wire striking device, insulation is achieved between the electromagnetic field and the corona inside the electrostatic precipitator. At the bearing of the transmission shaft, a sealing ring with a wool pad is used to prevent dust from escaping or leaking into the cold air. There is an insulation barrier on the outside of the transmission shaft, which is a conical barrel shaped object. The insulation barrier seals and isolates the air chamber from the outside by gravity. There is a large circular hole on the lower end face of the insulation barrier, so there is a large space between the transmission shaft and the dust collector housing, and there is no risk of short circuit. When the thickness of dust reaches, it will affect the efficiency of electrostatic precipitator, especially for corona discharge, so electrostatic precipitator has corresponding tapping devices for both to regularly remove dust. The corona striking device is located at the top of the electrostatic precipitator. It is driven by a motor to a ratchet wheel, which in turn drives a hammer to strike. The hammer is fixed in different axial and longitudinal positions, and during the process of rotating and striking the transmission shaft, only one hammer strikes a row of plates each time.
