Product details

China has abundant water resources, but due to its large population base, the per capita water resources are far below the world average. Although rivers and streams are scattered throughout China's land, according to statistics, groundwater resources still dominate the available water resources. Due to the impact of industrial development and illegal underground discharge by some illegal enterprises, groundwater pollution has become increasingly serious, resulting in various problems such as salinization, seawater erosion, and groundwater subsidence. Therefore, how to accurately monitor the degree of groundwater pollution has become an urgent task.

Regarding the monitoring of groundwater environment, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued HJ 164-2020 "Technical Specifications for Groundwater Environment Monitoring" on December 1, 2020, which replaces HJ164-2004. In this standard, the on-site monitoring items are emphasized again, including water level, water temperature, pH value, conductivity, turbidity, oxidation-reduction potential, color, odor and taste, visible substances, etc. Among them, oxidation-reduction potential is a newly added item indicator, and the standard also requires all monitoring instruments on site to be calibrated before use.

In the past, monitoring personnel usually carried various instruments such as water temperature meters, thermometers, pH meters, conductivity meters, turbidity meters, and oxidation-reduction potential meters to the site for on-site monitoring of groundwater. During on-site monitoring, the measurement results may change due to the elongation of the time line caused by the instruments used for measurement operations, or due to the complexity and confusion of single person operation, resulting in incorrect recording of measurement results. Alternatively, due to the failure or malfunction of a certain instrument, the monitoring of a certain project indicator may fail, resulting in incomplete results. These phenomena will ultimately lead to the failure of this groundwater on-site monitoring. Is there a solution to avoid or solve this problem?

Our company's design and development personnel, based on feedback from on-site monitoring personnel and relevant content on on-site monitoring in HJ 164-2020 "Technical Specification for Groundwater Environmental Monitoring", focused on referring to the requirements for on-site monitoring items and monitoring instruments in "6.4 Groundwater On site Monitoring", "6.5 Sampling Record Requirements", and the sampling record format requirements in Appendix E.1, integrated on-site measurement items and description items, and developed the D800 groundwater on-site monitoring instrument. Users only need to carry the instrument and a simple water level measuring device to complete the on-site monitoring of groundwater.

The D800 groundwater field monitoring instrument can collect measurement or descriptive indicators such as water level, water temperature, pH value, conductivity, turbidity, oxidation-reduction potential, color, odor and taste, visible substances to the naked eye into one instrument. After taking the groundwater sample, users can gradually complete the measurement or selection of various indicators according to the operation guide to complete the on-site monitoring of the water sample. At the same time, a record report in the format of "Table E.1 Groundwater Sampling Record" in HJ 164-2020 "Technical Specification for Groundwater Environmental Monitoring" will be automatically generated, which can be printed and queried on site, simplifying the previous operation process of carrying multiple instruments and requiring the cooperation of multiple people for groundwater on-site sampling and monitoring, making the groundwater on-site monitoring process more streamlined, simplified, and accurate.
