Surface heat dissipation (cooling) loss testing method
Heat flow meter method
Using a thermal resistance heat flux meter, the sensor is buried inside the insulation structure or attached to the outer surface of the insulation structure to directly measure the heat dissipation (cooling) loss value. This method is a commonly used method for testing the surface heat dissipation (cold) loss of insulation structures.
When the sensor of the heat flow meter is embedded in an insulated structure, the measured results should be converted into the heat dissipation (cooling) loss value on the outer surface of the insulated structure.
When the sensor of the heat flow meter is tightly attached to the outer surface of the insulation structure, the surface thermal emissivity of the sensor should be consistent with that of the measured surface, and the contact thermal resistance between the sensor and the measured surface should be minimized as much as possible.
