Product details

The FX10/FX17 hyperspectral imaging instrument was developed and produced by Specim in 2016. It is the world's fastest and lightweight hyperspectral imaging instrument, covering two bands: 400-1000nm (FX10) and 900-1700nm (FX17). In 2017, it was awarded the "Best Innovation Award for Machine Vision" by inVISION magazine.

The SPECIM FX10&FX17 hyperspectral imaging system combines visible near-infrared (VNIR or NIR) spectroscopy with high-resolution imaging, using push room imaging technology to collect line by line full band spectra of moving or stationary samples and synchronously generate images to obtain quantitative data on the chemical composition and spatial distribution of the samples. Each pixel in the image records the spectral characteristics of its corresponding sample point, including chemical composition, mass, color, etc., for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the samples.

Functional features:

1)Having two interface options of GigE Vision and CameraLink, and configuring software development packages to meet the diverse needs of users

2)The linear array push scan imaging method obtains all spectral information data of the target area at the same time while having high-speed imaging, ensuring the spectral purity of each spatial pixel and providing customers with more realistic and accurate hyperspectral data

3)Adopting a high transmittance optical design (F/1.7), the camera's focusing ability has been raised to a new standard, and only one line light source is needed to meet equipment requirements

4)Through unified wavelength calibration in the laboratory, it is ensured that each device can generate the same reproducible spectral data, which is convenient for installation and replacement, and does not require re calibration at the factory

5)High sensitivity and fast optical structure, fast imaging speed, full spectrum acquisition speed of 330 lines/second

6)The collection method is flexible, with multi region selection function (MRO) and selectable bands. It can select to collect all 220 bands or any band of interest

7)Compact and compact structure, easy to operate

8)High speed imaging, high signal-to-noise ratio

9)Different scanning platforms can be selected for hyperspectral scanning and imaging analysis of plants, seeds, etc., including rotating scanning stands, laboratory scanning platforms (with two specifications of 40x20cm and 100x50cm), field sample strip scanning and imaging platforms, etc
