The ArbStudio series arbitrary waveform generator from Beijing Diyang Agency, known as AWG, can generate signals with high sampling rates, long storage, and high resolution. It also has multiple operating modes, modulation capabilities, and digital code generator functions. The signal frequency currently supported by ArbStudio is 125MHz. The software design for controlling hardware is concise and clear, with a unique tree navigation menu that makes it easy to control all channels. The special window display makes it very simple to control basic function generators and even PWM signal output control. The ArbStudio series AWG can fit both 2-channel and 4-channel units into a compact box, which not only saves space but also offers highly competitive prices for each channel. In addition, the 4-channel model has external expansion ports that allow connection into 8 channels, generating up to 32 synchronized analog waveforms. There are currently four models of products launched on the market, including 2-channel and 4-channel versions with analog waveform output capability and both analog waveform output and digital code generator functions. All of these models have a bandwidth of 125MHz, a maximum sampling rate of 1GS/s, a storage depth of 2Mpts/ch, and a resolution of 16 bits. The arbitrary waveform generator that combines these indicators clearly has higher performance than existing competitors in the market at the same price point.
ArbStudio's software runs on a PC, freeing users from the hassle of traditional AWG small screen displays. A simple function generator window can generate basic function waveforms, while the unique streamlined control panel can be specifically used to generate PWM signals. The main software mode provides a start page, and the wizard method makes it easy to generate various simple and complex waveforms. At the same time, some shortcut menus can also be used to access recent settings projects, and the tree navigation menu makes it easy to get started. Once the waveform is generated, the graphical interface will display the generated waveform, or a custom display mode can be used to only show the waveform window that the user is most interested in.
An arbitrary waveform generator generally uses one of two techniques, either real arbitrary waveforms or direct digital synthesis (DDS) waveforms. Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages, and users need to consider which one to choose based on their needs. ArbStudio does not have this limitation. It provides two modes, allowing users to choose the mode that suits their application. Moreover, ArbStudio channels can be set to any independent mode, providing great flexibility.
