LQ3G Three Screw Pump Product Overview:
The LQ3G three screw pump is a rotary displacement pump that utilizes the principle of screw engagement. It relies on the rotating screw to mesh with each other inside the pump sleeve, enclosing the conveyed medium in the engagement chamber and continuously pushing it at a constant speed along the screw axis to the discharge port, providing stable pressure for the system.
The LQ3G three screw pump is suitable for various non corrosive oils, similar oils, and lubricating liquids. The viscosity range for transporting liquids is generally 3.0-760mm2/s (1.2-1000oE), and high viscosity media can be transported by heating to reduce viscosity. Its temperature does not exceed 350 ℃. The flow range is 0.2-600m3/h, and the maximum working pressure can reach 6.3MPa.

1. Simple structure: The pump itself consists of only three screws, but there are various structures formed. Generally, for small flow rates, the pump body and liner of 0.2-6.5m3/h pump are installed horizontally together, and the shaft seal is a mechanical seal. The pump liner with medium flow rate or above is fixed as a separate part inside the pump body. High flow pumps are often made into double suction structures. Depending on the medium being transported, there are two types of shafts: end face mechanical seals and packing seals. The prime mover of a marine pump is an AC marine motor.
2. Long lifespan: The main screw of a three screw pump is driven by an electric motor. There is a layer of oil film protection between the main and secondary screws, as well as between the screw and the liner. Due to the minimal mechanical friction of the pump, its lifespan can be considered semi permanent.
3. The liquid being transported undergoes axial uniform linear motion within the pump, resulting in low pressure pulsation, stable flow rate, and low noise. Due to the small inertia of the rotating parts, the starting torque and vibration are minimal.
4. Has high inhalation capacity.
5. To ensure the safety of pumps, motors, and piping systems, screw pumps with medium or higher flow rates are equipped with safety valves. When the pressure exceeds the set pressure of the safety valve, high-pressure oil will flow back to the inlet of the pump. Figure 1 and Figure 2 are schematic diagrams of two structures with and without safety valves.
