Product Introduction:
The Instron MT series torsion testing machine includes two standard models, with a maximum torque of 225 Nm (2000 lbf in). The design of this system has the characteristics of small footprint, high rigidity, and good alignment. The system uses a high-quality controller specifically designed by Instron. The MT series products provide precise measurements and have a wide range of torsion applications, such as wires, fasteners, springs, medical device components, and special materials in the automotive and aviation fields.
Performance characteristics:
The dual linear slide rail design ensures high wheel rotation stiffness and low axial friction, and the desktop system requires minimal laboratory space
Adjustable crossbeam locking device allows the crossbeam to float or be fixed freely
Instron ® Digital control motors can provide fast response, as well as automatic sensor recognition and calibration functions
The Instron torsion unit system provides excellent accuracy and zeroing capability
Comprehensive torsion test software provides graphical data graphs and performs various calculations on torque and angle data
The user control panel allows for remote rack setup and testing operations from a computer
The torsion unit protection device prevents damage to the small load torsion unit during the test setup
A sealed enclosure in the experimental space can provide a safer testing environment
Optional preloading device can provide constant compression or tension axial force
Application areas:
Biomedical products: bone nails, syringes, injection needles, Luer locking interfaces, fine metal wires, tools, insulin pens, and catheters
Automotive/Aerospace
Switches, torsion springs, wires, components, and fasteners, etc
