3、 Measurement principle
Traditional chemical analysis methods can only detect conventional toxic substances, and a single detection parameter is difficult to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the toxicity of water bodies.
The iTOXcontrol online comprehensive toxicity monitor uses Vibrio fischeri as a biosensor. Measure the luminescence intensity before and after exposure of luminescent bacteria to the tested sample, calculate the percentage of light loss, and thus determine the comprehensive toxicity level of the tested water sample. At the same time, use standard toxic substances for calibration during the preset time period to avoid false alarms and omissions.
