Hollow cathode lamp atomic absorption element lamp KY-1 KY-2Introduction:
Hollow cathode lamp is a glow discharge tube made of the material or alloy of the element to be tested, mainly used as an analytical light source for atomic absorption spectroscopy instruments. The starting voltage of the lamp is ≤ 360V A supporting light source for atomic absorption, with strong spectral line emission energy, high absorption sensitivity, good stability, long lifespan (most elements can reach 5000mAh, low melting point elements can reach 3000mAh), low noise, low drift and other characteristics.
Can match various models of atomic absorption spectrometers at home and abroad (including: Beifen Raleigh, Puxi General, Dongxi Electronics, Hanshi Manufacturing Institute, Beijing Huayang, Kechuang Haiguang, Shanghai Tianmei, Shanghai Jingke, Shanghai Spectroscopy, Zhejiang Fuli, Jiangsu Tianrui, Liaoning Analysis, Shen Yanghua Guang, Jena from Germany, PE from the United States, Shimadzu from Japan, etc.)

Hollow cathode lamp atomic absorption element lamp KY-1 KY-2performance parameter
1Starting voltage: ≤ 360V, low starting voltage (especially when lit at high frequencies), can be applied to various atomic absorption spectrometers (AAS). Generally, the power supply frequency of the AAS lamp is 200Hz, 400Hz or higher, and the lamp needs to be continuously turned on and off hundreds of times per second.
2Maximum operating current: generally between 10 and 30mA,, The LTL-PE4 and LTL-PE9 hollow cathode lamps are slightly larger.
3Ultra pure spectral performance: characterized by high and stable radiation spectral line intensity, without overlapping interference of emission spectral lines from cathode material impurities or other elements, anode materials, inert gases, etc., continuous and stable light source output.
4Emission performance: The unique cathode ring system ensures uniform and rapid luminescence performance.
5Noise:<0.3%, signal noise is reduced to a small level.
6Background: The radiation background on both sides of the characteristic spectral line is low, and the background intensity near the main analysis line is less than 1% of the analysis intensity.
7Preheating time:< 30 minutes, usually between 5-15 minutes.
8Stability: ≤+ 1%—-1%
Copper lamps have a baseline drift of less than 1% within 30 minutes, while other element lamps have a baseline drift of less than 1% within 5 minutes.
9Lamp body structure: The special design of the base ensures direct connection between the cathode pin and the wiring, with a compact structure, firm and reliable, and easy to use.
10Lifespan: The gas capacity space is larger than other brand products, and the product has a longer service life. Generally, element lamps are ≥ 5000mA. h, and melting and volatile element lamps are ≥ 3000mA. h, and can be stored for a long time.
Hollow cathode lamp atomic absorption element lamp KY-1 KY-2instructions
Users should choose the lamp current according to the requirements of the instrument they are using and the element being tested. The lamp current indicated on the lamp label is the maximum allowable working current, and users should generally choose around 1/3 or 2/3 of the maximum working current of the lamp. The selection principle is to use a smaller working current as much as possible while ensuring that the lamp can provide sufficient energy to the instrument.
Do not damage or stain the light window. If there is any stain, it can be wiped clean with alcohol cotton to ensure good light transmission performance. After the light is turned on, avoid direct eye contact to prevent UV light from damaging your eyes.
For low melting point and volatile element lamps, high current and long-term continuous use should be avoided; Try to avoid significant vibrations during use; After use, it is necessary to wait for the lamp tube to cool down before moving it. When moving, keep the window facing up to prevent the elements inside the cathode lamp from pouring out.
The normal cathode of the lamp emits orange red neon light. If the glow color becomes lighter (due to the influence of a small amount of hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen gases inside the lamp) and the emission intensity decreases, a current of 25-30mA can be used to reverse process it to orange red. Attention: Alkali metal and alkaline earth metal lamps other than magnesium cannot be processed in reverse.
In order to extend the service life of the lamp, it should be lit for about 1 hour at the rated working current every certain period of time (about 3 months).
The base of this lamp tube is a standard eight pin (excluding PE type), with pin 1 (5) as the cathode and pin 3 (7) as the anode.
