In severe cases, if a large amount of steam carries water, it will cause an increase in salt content in the country, and water hammer sound will occur in the steam pipeline; The connection flange will emit steam and drip water outward, and the water supply flow rate will be lower than the steam flow rate. If the furnace tube or economizer tube ruptures and causes water shortage, the opposite phenomenon will occur. If there is a severe water shortage, red hot water-cooled wall pipes can be seen at the furnace door, and sometimes a burnt smell can also be smelled. At this time, the furnace tube may rupture, and there will be a sound of explosion. Steam or smoke can be sprayed out from the furnace door and the fire door.

Low water level interlock device, if the water level is lower than the specified value, it will stop the operation of the motors of the air supply fan, induced draft fan, and grate reducer. If the water level is below the low safety water level line, the glass tube of the water level gauge will appear white; When flushing the water level gauge, first determine whether the small steam boiler is slightly or severely full of water.

The method to determine mild and severe water saturation is to first close the water level gauge and water connection plug, and then open the waterproof plug; If you can see the water level line dropping from above, it means it is slightly full. In this case, it is necessary to open the drain valve and bring it to the normal water level. If the water level is severe, emergency shutdown measures need to be taken.
