The high-speed beam deflector based on PLZT achieves the purpose of deflecting the beam by implanting prisms with internal electrodes, which can achieve fast and large angle beam deflection.
Deflection angle: greater than 3 degrees (voltage: 20V)
Deviation frequency: less than 25MHz
The PLZT optical beam deflector is equipped with prism electrodes which steers optical beam at large angles at high frequencies. The deflector would be useful for optical switching, wide band tunable filter, image/data processing, and other applications.
