Five colors

Blue light, ultraviolet light, green light, red light, and amber light: You can use 5 different wavelength LED modules to excite your sample.
The complete integration of light stimulation creates precise relationships between light pulses (i.e. from stimulation to freezing time)
Connect the LED module to the instrument with just one click. Each module has a different wavelength and is automatically recognized by software and recorded in log files

Define your microscope configuration for Leica S6 E or Leica M80 and environmental controls (loading station, workbench, and indoor temperature control)
Upgrade the instrument to light stimulation mode at any time
You can upgrade the environment settings (workbench heating and/or environmental chamber) at any time as needed
All upgrades (light stimulation module and environment settings) can be directly completed by Leica's service team in your laboratory. You don't need to return the instrument to the factory.

Environmental responsibility

Our electron microscope sample preparation system not only meets the highest technical and ergonomic requirements, but is also designed with minimal environmental impact.
The daily LN consumption (including equipment cooling) is only 30 liters, which is approximately 65% less than previous models
The consumption of LN during the cooling process has been reduced by approximately 70% compared to previous models
Synchronization of pressure and cooling does not require the use of alcohol or other liquids
Leica EM ICE adopts sustainable packaging: multiple use packaging boxes containing ramps used during transportation in the factory and delivery to customers. This packaging was awarded the Austrian National Award for "Smart Packaging" in November 2014.
We take responsible actions and obtained DIN EN ISO 14001 environmental management certification in 2015.
