Low voltage short-circuit impedance measurement is a basic item in the routine test of transformers. By comparing the short-circuit impedance values measured before and after the transformer is subjected to the impact of short-circuit current, the degree of winding deformation can be preliminarily estimated. Low voltage short-circuit impedance test is the most direct method to identify whether the winding of a transformer is deformed after being impacted by short-circuit current during operation or mechanical force during transportation and installation. It is of great significance for determining whether the transformer can be put into operation and is also one of the basis for determining whether disassembly inspection is required for the transformer.

The transformer short-circuit impedance tester is an instrument developed by our company for measuring low-voltage short-circuit impedance of transformers under on-site and laboratory conditions. The instrument is small in size and light in weight. The instrument adopts voltage and current synchronous AC sampling and digital signal processing technology internally, ensuring accurate measurement data. For three-phase transformers, instruments can use both three-phase simultaneous testing and phase separation testing methods to test the transformer: three-phase simultaneous testing uses a three-phase power supply, which can directly measure three-phase parameters; The phase separation test uses a single-phase power supply, and after measuring the corresponding phases in sequence, the three-phase parameters are automatically converted. For single-phase transformers, the instrument has the function of testing single-phase transformers and can directly test their impedance parameters. The instrument is equipped with a built-in power-off memory, which can store measurement data for a long time. The instrument comes with a printer, a large LCD display, all Chinese menus and operation prompts, making the operation simple and intuitive.

1.
