Product Overview:

The national standard GB11914-89 specifies the steps for determining the chemical oxygen demand (COD) of water quality, and strictly specifies the conditions and indicators such as heating and digestion time, solution acidity, and the amount of oxidant and catalyst used in the method. It is obvious that the determination of COD (cr) in water quality has strict conditions, and any operation that violates these conditions will affect the accuracy of the determination.
The HCA-101-8 and 12 air-cooled COD digesters follow the basic principles of ISO and GB standards, ensuring a 2-hour digestion operation with reflux heating and micro boiling. The preparation and addition of reagent solutions are consistent with the GB method, ensuring reliable and accurate analysis results.
This instrument adopts microcomputer technology for timed control of remote ceramic electric furnace plates, and can simultaneously heat 8 or 12 digestion cone reflux devices. To achieve the goals of energy conservation, reducing power load, and improving efficiency.
The instrument adopts a glass burr reflux tube instead of a spherical reflux tube, and uses air cooling technology instead of tap water cooling method,

It can not only save water but also standardize the instrument, while making the use of the instrument more reassuring.
The chemical solution preparation, operation, and COD calculation of the instrument follow GB11914-89. COD water samples below 50mg/L can be improved in accuracy by diluting titrants and oxidants, while COD water samples above 1000mg/L can be determined by diluting the water sample proportionally.
Technical specifications:
Measurement range: 0-1000mg/L, 0-10000mg/L (diluted water sample)
Measurement time: no more than 2 hours
Measurement error: Potassium hydrogen phthalate standard solution (500mg/L), relative standard deviation not exceeding 5.0%

Industrial organic wastewater (500mg/L), with a relative standard deviation not exceeding 8.0%
Environmental temperature: 5-40 ℃
Heating power: 700W (AC 220V ± 22V, 50HZ)

Main features:

The air-cooled COD digester adopts microcomputer technology for timed control of the heating electric furnace, which can simultaneously heat 8 or 12 digestion cone reflux devices. To achieve the goals of energy conservation, reducing power load, and improving efficiency. The instrument adopts a glass burr reflux tube instead of a spherical reflux tube, and uses air cooling technology instead of tap water cooling, which can not only save water and standardize the instrument, but also make the use of the instrument more reassuring.

The chemical solution preparation, operation, and COD calculation of the instrument follow GB11914-89. For COD water samples below 50mg/L, accuracy can be improved by diluting titrants and oxidants. For COD water samples above 1000mg/L, the measurement can be completed by diluting the water sample proportionally.
