BYK impact tester from Germany

Used for coating testing on metal substrates. According to DIN EN ISO standards, use a clamping device to clamp the test panel onto the mold base, so that the coating surface outside the testing area on the test panel will not be affected by rapid deformation due to falling heavy objects.

2 The weight error of DIN EN ISO dropped heavy objects is within+/- grams

Operation steps:

1. Place the sample under the punch
2. Lift the heavy object in the conduit to the preset height and drop it down
3. Observe the damage of the sample visually or with a magnifying glass
4. Adjust the falling weight or height of the impact gauge to determine the exact point of failure, or set a qualified/unqualified scale.

Heavy impact tester

This impact tester has a wide range for impact resistance testing and is suitable for many types of coatings, such as paints, varnishes, high viscosity plastic coatings, and laminated coatings. It can also be used in quality management standards for impact resistance testing and penetration testing in construction, such as plastics, resin, fiberglass, boards, plywood, etc
