It utilizes its unique binding mechanism, whereby GlassMilk preferentially binds to nucleic acids in high salt and low pH environments. Then, the combined parts are washed away by simple cleaning to remove agarose, restriction endonucleases, Taq enzymes, T4 ligases, primers, adapters, salts, and residual organic solvents from the purification system. Finally, DNA molecules were removed using low salt buffer or water washing, and the purified DNA was directly used for subsequent experiments.
