1. Usage and characteristics:
PM240-III flat grinderIt is an essential instrument in the national standard GB5211.19 "Determination of relative coloring power and dilution color of coloring pigments - Visual comparison method". This machine can be used as a professional physical performance testing instrument for the pigment, coating, and ink industries. The whole machine has a compact structure, simple appearance, convenient speed and load changes, and easy installation and removal of glass plates. Adopting microcomputer control, LCD screen display, and convenient parameter setting. When the input parameters are incorrect, the controller will automatically display a prompt message, and when overcurrent and phase failure occur, the controller will also display a prompt message. The goal of reliable control and simple operation has been achieved.

4. Connection between flat grinder and controller
4.1 When connecting, attention should be paid to the direction of the socket. Only after confirming the correct connection can it be used.
5. Pre use inspection:
5.1 Check whether the positioning rings of the upper and lower grinding discs are tightened every time the flat grinder is used. If they are not tightened, they must be tightened before use.
During no-load operation, the upper grinding disc must be opened, and the lower grinding disc should turn clockwise.
5.3 The instrument adopts a three-phase four wire 380V power supply and should be connected to the neutral wire for use, otherwise the electrical control box will not work as shown in Figure 3.
6. Button function:
6.1 "▲": The loop for each digit of "Set Circles" is incremented by 1.
6.2“ ▶ ”: Set the number of cycles for cyclic shifting.
6.3 "Confirm": Determine the set number of turns.
6.4 "Setting": Set the number of circles.
6.5 "Operation": The machine starts running.
6.6 "Stop": The machine stops running.
6.7 "Stop counting": Stop counting for "number of operating cycles A" and "cumulative times B".
6.8 "Reset A": The counter for "number of revolutions A" is reset to zero.
6.9 "Reset A": The "Cumulative Count B" counter is reset to zero.
7. Operation steps:
7.1 Place the quantitative sample and mixing agent on the lower grinding disc, mix them into a slurry with a mixing knife, then move the mixed slurry to the center position of the lower grinding disc, and lower the upper grinding disc to fasten the positioning shaft core and positioning block. Then, place the eccentric handle on the lower plate and hang the required weight.
When the power switch of the controller is turned on, the buzzer emits a "beep" sound.
7.3 LCD screen displays the startup screen:
7.4 Press the "Set" button on the keyboard to enter the tens of thousands of circles for setting. At this time, the tens of thousands are flashing. Press the "▲" button to increase the tens of thousands value by 1, and then press“ ▶” Shift the key cycle by one position. Press the "OK" button to confirm the set number of cycles and enter the function operation. But the set number of turns is not 0, otherwise it will display "Enter set number of turns" and reset. During the setting of the number of turns, the function key cannot be pressed, otherwise the set number of turns will be displayed and reset. If the "OK" button is pressed and an error is found in the set number of cycles, the "Set" button can be pressed to reset. If it is confirmed that the set number of turns is correct, press the "Run" button, and the motor will start running. Every rotation. The 'number of operating cycles' automatically accumulates by 1. When the number of revolutions and the set number of revolutions are the same, the motor automatically stops running. At this time, the buzzer emits an alarm sound of "beep beep beep", and the "cumulative number of times" automatically increases by 1. At this point, pull the eccentric handle to separate the grinding disc up and down, pull the positioning handle outward while pushing it up, open the upper grinding disc, and observe the sample.
If you run it again according to the last set number of turns, simply press the "Run" button; If you want to stop halfway, you can press the "stop" button. If 'reset A', the 'number of cycles A' counter will automatically reset to zero; If 'reset B', the 'cumulative count B' counter will automatically reset, and at the same time, a 'beep' sound will be emitted. To continue working, simply press the "Run" button, and the machine will continue to run until it reaches the set number of turns.
If the machine needs to run for a long time, the counter should be stopped from counting. At this point, the 'number of operating cycles' will display' STOP '; If you don't want to run for a long time, press the "stop counting" button again, and the machine will return to its original counting state.
7.7 If the "Set" button is pressed during mechanical operation, the entire machine will stop running. Simultaneously, the "set number of turns" flashes in tens of thousands of digits, and the values of "reset A" and "reset B" are reset.
7.8 If water cooling is required, connect the water nozzle of the grinding disc.
8 Precautions:
8.1 After each work, the upper and lower glass should be wiped clean, with appropriate paper in between, and the upper grinding disc should be placed down to avoid damaging the glass plate.
8.2 The set number of turns cannot be 00000.
9 Maintenance:
9.1 The controller should be placed near the flat grinder reliably, but strong vibrations should be avoided. After each operation, the power should be turned off and covered with a cloth.
After one year of use, the cover plate must be opened to inject oil into the gearbox.
