1、 Overview
With the rapid development of the electroplating industry, the purification and recovery of waste gas are increasingly valued. The HSGS series chromic acid recycler produced by Hengshui Baofei Huachuang Fiberglass Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a reliable waste gas purification equipment. Through the use and testing of multiple users, the purification and recovery rate of the treated chromic acid waste gas can reach over 90%, which can be widely used for the purification and recovery of waste gas in industries such as electroplating.
2、 Working principle
Chromic acid (also known as chromic anhydride) mist is a highly corrosive and toxic substance that is reddish brown in color. It enters the space through the exhaust system and spreads in the vicinity of the workshop, corroding equipment and buildings, and affecting the health of workers and residents. The HSGS series chromic acid recycler uses the coagulation method to condense the mist containing chromic acid particles through a filter grid made of multiple layers of plastic mesh plates. The acid mist is blocked by the mesh plates and condensed into liquid. The chromic acid solution flows into the lower guide groove along the mesh plate wall and into the recovery container through the conduit. The purified standard gas is discharged into the space by the anti-corrosion fan.
3、 Structure and Characteristics
The HSGS series chromic acid recyclers are divided into two types: L-type and W-type. The L-type is vertical and the W-type is horizontal.

The HSGS-W type recycler consists of a main box body, which is connected to the fan inlet and the front pipeline at both ends by square to circular short pipes or large and small heads.

5、 Installation, use, maintenance, and upkeep
1. The HSGS series chromic acid recycler must be installed on a concrete foundation and positioned on-site according to the installation dimension diagram provided by our company. When installing the recycler, the bottom must be kept horizontal and the airflow direction must not be reversed to ensure that the chromic acid solution is smoothly discharged through the holes at the bottom of the shell.
2. After the installation of the recycler is completed and before putting it into operation, it should be carefully inspected and cleaned of debris and dirt in the circulation system to avoid blockage.
3. The liquid level of the storage tank should be maintained at a certain height, and the storage tank should be cleaned regularly according to its usage.
4. Maintenance personnel should regularly check the amount of recycling. If any abnormal phenomena are found, the door should be opened in a timely manner to inspect the filter plate. If there is any damage, it should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner. If the mesh is blocked, it can be rinsed with clean water. Generally, it should be cleaned once a month or more.
5. The recycler is made of rigid polyvinyl chloride sheet with low material strength. Therefore, during loading, unloading, and transportation, it should be handled gently and not collided to avoid damage. It should not be installed in places exposed to direct sunlight, as it may cause equipment aging and damage.
Before use, the recycling device should be connected to the recycling tube and liquid seal. The liquid seal must be filled with water to maintain a certain liquid seal height and ensure the normal recovery of chromic acid.
6、 Precautions for selecting the model of chromic acid recycler
1. Users can choose between vertical (L-shaped) or horizontal (W-shaped) chromic acid recyclers based on the usage site.
2. Users should choose the size of the chromic acid recovery device based on the amount of exhaust air volume.
3. The resistance of the filter screen of the chromic acid recovery device is 18-40 millimeters of water column. Increasing the recovery device will increase the resistance loss through the system, and the wind pressure of the fan should be reasonably selected.
4. If the user requires our selection, we must provide necessary data such as exhaust gas measurement and concentration, installation indoors or outdoors, etc.
